I started working for Karma Sauce during my brief stint as a UX designer. At the time, the company was grappling with the increased demand that resulted from being featured on the hit Youtube series Hot Ones. I helped Karma Sauce redesign and optimize their website with the aim of enhancing user experience.
Over time, my role at Karma Sauce expanded beyond the design and maintenance of the website. Company CEO Gene Olczak and I would discuss potential strategies to further capitalize on the companies increasing brand recognition. I began thinking about more comprehensive digital strategies, including marketing funnels, search engine optimization, CPC advertising, content marketing, email marketing, and social media management. I transitioned from Karma Sauce's web designer to its digital marketing strategist.
Since adopting the position, I've overseen substantial growth in Karma Sauce's digital sales. Our organic user engagement has exploded across social media, with a 407% increase in total followers on Instagram alone. And these increases have had substantial effects on the business. Despite a modest monthly budget, total digital sales have increased between 294% and 435% per month compared to the previous year.
A cornerstone of my digital strategy is the creation of targeted, engaging content that will excite our followers and help attract new ones.
By coordinating attention-grabbing content with tools like Mailchimp and Shopify, I've learned how to create effective digital campaigns that reliably close the deal with potential customers.
